Please, Albi: Live Up to The Hype

My second post of the day. This isn’t really a blog, more than it is just some random thoughts/ideas I want to put into words sometimes.

I’m going to Washington for the weekend tomorrow, and I swear to God: if this fucking restaurant doesn’t live up to all of the hype I’ve heard about it, I am going to lose my shit. I am so tired of paying exorbitant prices at supposedly nice restaurants only for it to completely fail to live up to expectations. I’m not pretentious, I’d honestly rather just make a salad at home. But please don’t waste my time. I also don’t need to dine at nice restaurants: I’m just as happy at a small ramen shop as I am at an Eleven Madison Park.

So, Albi? Don’t break my heart. Please be a good fucking restaurant.
